Nevco Engineering is looking for a full time, fully qualified and experienced Boilermaker / Engineering Fabricator to work in all areas of steel fabrication.

The Role
In the position of Boilermaker/Engineering Fabricator you will be working in all areas of steel fabrication and will be working with light to heavy plate, sheet steel and other pre-formed sections. You will be setting up and operating heavy working machines such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, guillotine, rolls, flame cutters and drill presses to cut, shape and form, weld and generally fabricate metal into parts, sections or sub-assemblies in accordance with written instructions and technical drawings. Subject to your skill level and interest there is scope to extend into the assembly and fitout of Nevco finished products.
Your skills
MUST HAVE TRADE CERTIFICATE – Boilermaking Fabrication Strand or Certificate III Metal Fabrication.
MINIMUM TRADE SKILL REQUIRED is Engineering Fabrication Trade Certificate III (or prior equivalent).
Demonstrate competency in all areas of trade – Boilermaking mathematics, interpretation of drawings and geometry/fabrication skills.
MIG and TIG welding skills are essential.
Experience with various grades of Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel.
Guillotining and Pressing experience is an asset.
Machining experience will also be recognised.
Body Building skills and experience will be recognised as will 12V/24V automotive electrical experience.
